Tennis is a great sport to play with family and friends. Most of us have access to a nearby tennis court, but what happens when a court needs repairs? If a tennis court ever has any cracks or patches, it may be necessary to get repairs. In this article, we are going to look at the tennis court repair process.
The first step in the process is to locate the areas of the court that need to be repaired. Any large cracks will need to be areas of focus.
Once the cracks are located the repair team will get the materials ready to fix them.
Acrylic patch binder is mixed with sand and cement to create the material that is used in covering up the cracks. This material must be mixed carefully at the job site. Once it is mixed it will be poured along the cracks and then smoothed out. The repair team will use a tool that flattens the material onto the court.
In the final step of the process the repair team will add acrylic resurfacer onto the cement mixture once it is dry. Any large patches that need to be fixed may require multiple layers of the acrylic resurfacer to be completed.
