Scuba diving is a type of diving in which the diver can go to deep bodies of water using a scuba suit and a breathing apparatus, such as a portable oxygen tank. To scuba dive, one must be trained in scuba diving, or else risk serious injury.
If you want to go scuba diving, you can buy a cheap wetsuit, an oxygen tank and breathing equipment, goggles and hit the water, but that is usually not suggested. Experts say you should undergo several scuba diving classes, and learn from someone who has undergone some sort of scuba instructor training.
If you don’t follow the proper procedures, you can get what is known as the bends, which is air pressure sickness. You must depressurize yourself to get used to the difference in pressures between sea level and the bottom of the bodies of water in which you are diving.
Some people like to bring underwater cameras with them when they go scuba diving. This is because you can take some really excellent, unique pictures underwater that can either be great pieces in a collection or sold for a great profit. After all, not everyone can scuba dive, so if you can, you have the option of taking pictures underwater of some really cool stuff.
